Lookout Oyama!

Hidden platforms in the Okanagan #1

Nestled on the top Lake Country hides one of the cutest platforms ever! Have you found it yet?

I could keep expanding this idea to the whole Okanangan- but iiiiit’s soooo freakin true!!! We are so lucky to live here. Lake Country, Oyama and down to the King Eddie area, where you start to get up into for this trek, has so much to offer!

The drive is bumpy, the walk is short & the view is fantastic! Even just to find this spot- the trip is worth it! The road turns to dirt roads and rad dirt biking country about half way up the mountain on the road that leads towards Oyama lake. When you first pull up to the lookout location, it will be at a u-turn on the road. There will be a clearing with a slight path leading towards the lookouts mountain edge where you will see a full scenic view of Oyama and Lake Country in the background. (Picture above)

Now, to find this platform! It’s easy, I promise. All you have to do is look to the left when you are along the lookout and follow a slight trail along the ridge (video above). It’s about a 2 minute walk. Where it seems like the trail ends, just look over that rock ledge and you will see. The platform hidden between two trees with this beautiful view.
